This position will be a key to our growth by providing final technical review of tax returns as well as developing staff through constructive comments and coaching to improve their skills. This person will also be responsible for the distribution of the workload to the staff. Our ideal candidate would be able to prepare and review complex individual, corporate, fiduciary and partnership tax returns with management experience & CPA certification. A Staff accountant at CPAMD would be required to prepare personal, fiduciary, corporate and partnership tax returns of varying complexities along with setting up clients in Quick Books and assist with general accounting and financial statement preparation. You would also find yourself making adjusting entries and complete a trial balance in order to prepare a tax return, participating in compilation, review and audit engagements.
General administrative office duties include but not limited to answering phones, working the mail, conduct the dreaded filing, provide administrative support to other team members and create weekly payroll time record. An office associate is a key position in our organization, as you are the first thing clients see when they walk through the door. We would require you to manage day-to-day operations and keep CPAMD running smoothly.
